 Pupils

We understand that we all have rights, so we must work to respect the rights of others too.

 - We will treat others the way we want to be treated ourselves.

 - We will work hard, do our best at all times and not interfere with other children’s learning.

 - We will get into class on time, and be ready for the start of lessons.

 - We will respect the environment and try to act in an eco-friendly way.

 - We will respect other people’s property and keep the school tidy.

 - We will keep ourselves and other people safe.

 - We will wear our school uniform properly and try to keep it smart throughout the day.

It was acknowledged that adults would need to support the younger children in understanding some of the statements, but that even the very youngest could comprehend the basic principles.  These are all consistent with our SEAL programme and with our work on the UNESCO Rights of the Child, as part of our journey towards being an accredited Rights Respecting School.
